The final four goldfish that were won at the county fair have gone to Heaven. I was not a big fan, but Matthew was always so diligent about feeding them. I texted Zach and told him, who then passed the news on to Matthew. The text I received back said, “Matt says, that’s bacon!” Huh?? So maybe it’s not such a sad note, and he was tired of feeding them. He is a crazy kid. Always makes me smile!

Last week Brian and the boys were working on the race cars when Matthew came up to Brian and said, “I’m so British, do you know what that means?” Brian says, yeah, it means you’re from England. Matthew promptly replies, “no, it means I’ll believe anything!” Brian says, “no, that’s gullible.”
Thanksgiving letters Part 2
Dear Dad,
Thank you for everything you do for me. You do a lot for me. Thank you for taking me hunting. I like it. Thank you for checking my homework. I like getting all the problems right. I get mad when I miss problems. Thank you for fixing my things if I break them. If I break it I will have to buy a new one. I hate it when I break things. I am thankful for all of these things.

M- Why does Santa love Mrs. Claus?
Me- Well, because they’re married like mommy and daddy, and they love each other.
M-hmph, well I just wish Zach would marry Mrs. Claus!
Thanksgiving Letters Part 1
Zach had a class assignment last week where he was supposed to write two people and let them know what he’s thankful for. Here’s the one he wrote to me.
Dear Mom,
Thank you for everything you do for me. You do a lot for me. Thank you for helping me study for tests. Like when you helped me study for my Social Studies test. You also help me study for spelling tests. Thank you for making a snack when I am hungry. Like after school I am always hungry. And just whenever I am hungry. Thank you for washing my clothes so I will have something to wear. You know I get mad when I have nothing to wear. I am thankful for all of these things.
