“Moore” Monday

PRAYERLESSNESS IS THE MOST
PROHIBITIVE OBSTACLE IN THE ROAD
TO A BELIEVER’S VICTORY, NO MATTER
WHAT OUR SPECIFIC PURSUIT MAY BE.

I call on You, O God, for You will answer
me.  Give ear to me and hear my prayer.  Show
the wonder of Your great love, You who save by
Your right hand those who take refuge in You
from their foes.  Keep me as the apple of Your
eye.  Hide me in the shadow of our wings (PS. 17:6-8).
Show me Your ways, O Lord.  Teach me
Your paths.  Guide me in Your truth and teach
me, for You are God my Savior, and my hope is
in You all day long.
Remember Your great mercy and love, for
they are from of old.  Remember not the sins
of my youth and my rebellious ways.  Instead,
remember me according to Your love, for You
are good, O Lord (Ps. 25:4-7).

I have a rule in my house…no exceptions on the rules labeled on video games or movies. Ok…well one exception is Guitar Hero. I have all E and E10 games allowed, but other than that, don’t even ask. We don’t watch PG13 until you are 13. Because then there is no arguement. I tell them that they may not play/watch at others houses because if I find out that they didn’t say no, they won’t be allowed to go places. It is a responsibility thing for my 8 and 10 year olds. I tell them that if I let them now, then they will expect the next level when they reach this appropriate age. I tell them not to grow up too quickly. That before they know it they will have bills, stress, jobs…BE KIDS!! And be good kids, life is easier. I also only alow Wii games that move you aroud during the week, no other ones on school nights. It helps. Good LUCK!!
